Global Talent Mentoring and AMPT are partnering to advance the global talent pipeline in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and medical sciences (STEMM)—particularly in areas where STEMM talent development resources might be limited. Within this context, AMPT has committed to helping identify STEMM experts from across the globe in order to enable exceptionally talented youth in the Global South to participate in Global Talent Mentoring as mentees. Such partnerships enable Global Talent Mentoring to expand its international network of STEMM talent, as well as broaden the reach of the positive impact it makes in the lives of outstanding youths in STEMM.

Global Talent Mentoring is an online mentoring program that fosters excellence in STEMM worldwide for exceptionally talented youth (about age 16) through evidence-based, long-term, online mentoring. Global Talent Mentoring is the flagship offering of the World Giftedness Center by the UNESCO-recognized Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Distinguished Academic Performance in Dubai, UAE. The program is being developed by a research team led by Prof. Dr. Heidrun Stoeger at the University of Regensburg in Germany. Mentoring will commence in March of 2021.
